
Her Story
Amy grew up in Georgetown, Massachussetts and attended the University of Massachusetts at Boston, where she received a Bachelor of science degree in Business and Marketing. She worked as a recruitment specialist in Boston for many years. Wanting a change from city life, she moved to Vermont, and graduated from Castleton University, Summa cum Laude, with an associates degree in Nursing. She worked at Rutland Regional Medical Center and then as a travel nurse for many years at hospitals throughout New England. In 2010, she accepted a position at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center as a staff nurse and then as a nurse manager on the Medical Specialties Unit. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Vermont while working as a cardiac nurse at the UVM Medical Center, again graduating Summa cum Laude in 2015. She joined the Hogenkamps in 2016.
